Tech Talks Newsletter 2024 - A newsletter to bring all the latest news in Tech to our TechUP Women Community.
1. The brief...
The brief was to inspire our community of women who had completed a course called Clickstart TechUP Women, where I was elected to be a community rep.
2. The idea...
We were tasked to try and keep the community talking and excited about all things tech! We had monthly meetings and created polls, posts, talking points, anything to help them communicate with each other.
3. The process...
We soon found that we couldn't get them talking on a day to day basis so we tried a newsletter. I created the initial design and invited my fellow reps to collaborate, we each had sections that we were in charge of and we published it every month.
4. The result...
Our monthly newsletter contained lots of information, which we wanted to make accessible. We created the newsletter in keeping with the TechUP colour scheme. Adding colourful boxes to make it fun and something that people want to take the time to read.
